The Tahoe Donner 4 Wheelers had a lot of fun Participating in this year’s 4th of July Parade. We had 8 4x4s in the parade, each decorated to the max with red, white and blue. The drivers were accompanied by their kids, grandkids and several friends that joined in the fun. They handed out candy and all had a great time waving to the huge crowds.
The Club also enjoyed Concert on the Green this year. We had a section that we roped off for our members and it was a great time to meet new members and spend time with old friends.
We also want to thank our friends at 4 Wheel Parts in Sparks, specifically Aaron Mundane the Manager. Aaron hosted our Club for a very informative afternoon learning about how to customize our 4x4s and make them more capable and safe for our off-roading adventures. Not only did he fill up our brains with great information, but he also filled up our stomachs with a very nice BBQ spread for the group. I know all who came had a great time.
This year Sierra 4x4 Trails and Ales will be held on September 16th. The event will feature a morning trail run at Bear Valley OHV followed by a buffet dinner under the tent behind Northwood’s Clubhouse. We will have details about the event on our web site (TD4wheelers.com) in the near future. So if you have been thinking about joining the Club, now is a great time so you can participate in this fun event.
