2023 November TD News

The TD4WD Club had an epic fall adventure to Moab, Utah and on to Ouray, Colorado. We joined the Red Rock 4Wheelers Fall Campout runs for Poison Spyder, Backwards Bill and Jax Trax in the always scenic Red Rock. Then we continued on to Ouray, Colorado where we helped with a rescue of an injured quad rider on Poughkeepsie Gulch’s notorious wall area. Luckily he was OK after being airlifted out and a subsequent hip reduction. Roger Stein and Tim West helped get the quads out to the trailer. We crossed numerous high passes including Imogene, California, Engineer, Ophir and others. The views are breathtaking (or maybe that’s just the 13,000’ altitude).  We explored the historic Tomboy mine site above Telluride. Everyone worked as a team and had a great time, although we’ve all had enough narrow shelf roads! Thanks to Tim West for planning and leading our adventure!
